Short version: we collect what is needed to send you a comic, and nothing else.

What we collect

When you buy something we receive your email address and shipping address, and the items in your order. We never see your card number — payment is handled entirely by Stripe, and your card details go to them, not to us.

Analytics and advertising

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across other websites. It tells us how many people viewed a page. It does not build a profile of you.

We also use Google Ads conversion tracking. If you arrive from one of our Google ads and later buy something, Google's tag sets first-party cookies on this site (they carry a click identifier and expire within 90 days) so that Google can tell us the ad led to a purchase, together with the order total. That is the only advertising cookie here. Google handles this data under its own advertising policies; you can opt out at Google Ads Settings or by blocking third-party scripts, and the shop works exactly the same either way. We do not use it to build a profile of you and do not share it with anyone else.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the shop is used: which comics are viewed, searched for, added to the cart and bought. It sets first-party cookies (they begin with _ga) that tell repeat visits apart; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we do not send it your name, email or address. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking third-party scripts, and the shop works exactly the same either way.

Who your information goes to

Only the companies needed to complete your order: Stripe for payment, USPS for delivery, and ShipStation which we use to print labels. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, ever.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and returns.

Your choices

Email support@wesellcomicsde.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will do it.

Children

This store is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
